Is Nassau, Bahamas a nice port? Recommendations?

I’ll be sailing to Nassau Bahamas on Carnival in early November. Is it nice? Scary? Are there any places to avoid, or any places I should certainly see? Thanks.

You will enjoy your time in Nassau especially along Bay Street and Paradise Island. The cruise directors will provide you with indications of the happening night life, I would take their recommendation.

Like any city you need to be smart but its a safe port.

And in November the port should have just been reconditioned…
