Film Production Program at the University?
I wonder which schools in the U.S. program offers Film / Cinematography. I know Full Sail, USC, American University, Hollins, Howard, University of New York.
There are many colleges and universities offering programs in production of the film. If you are considering a film program, I suggest you buy or borrow this book: Television, Film and Digital Media Programs, Editorial: Princeton Review. It is available through Amazon. It lists more than 550 schools with this important and has descriptions of what you should look for when comparing programs. Another helpful resource (free) is this site, which offers reviews of several programs: http://filmmaker.com/reviews.html However, not all universities offering these programs are included on this site. Some additional universities to begin: Chapman University (CA), Loyola Marymount University (CA), Montana State University, University of California, Santa Barbara, University of California, Los Angeles, Cal State Long Beach, Rochester Inst. Technology, Temple, California Institute of the Arts, Columbia College (Chicago), Ithaca College (NY), Hampshire College (MA), Emerson College (MA) Good luck with your search!
