What should I wear, say, wait a 3-month journey across the Atlantic by myself on a boat of 23 feet.?

IM taking a 1980 23ft Project O 'days by boat and building a seaworthy vessel to sail from Maine to England next spring. What should I expect, I am a coastal sea, the advance of cold water diving, and I work on boats. My main job is a mechanic for a company of sheet metal, tools and knowledge. I am strong and have the will and the desire to prove to anyone but me can do it. i server learning time and now will try to prepare as best I can, time corresponding to the weather and a little luck. I will be to Northern Maine, then a direct shot at the Azores Islands, then down maybe stop somewhere in the Netherlands before returning to England. English Channel is treacherous. ok to know everything that goes into it and that the disease is 23 and physical mental and drug and alcohol. What advice can you offer me! thanks james-scarb. Maine

If you are asking this question I do not think you're ready. Before that may leave you have to know how to survive the Atlantic crossing. You need survival training. Water is a critical need all during their journey. Communication is another. Extensive first aid kit will remain another. You will also want premap standard paths crossing between the U.S. and Europe, so if you get into trouble you can call for help. You will also be maddeningly slow journey Oday 23 '. Actually I suggest that you postpone the passage and the attempt by an East Coast tour as a practice race. At least that way you can always duck into port or the beach if you get into trouble. Whatever you decide … Good luck … I hope you survive ….
