Past America’s Cup Challenger Captures New Prize in Newport, Rhode Island
British entrepreneur and yachtsman Peter de Savary has recently returned to Newport, Rhode Island to chart a new course, this time on land, rather than at sea.  de Savary led the British sailing team in its challenge for the America’s Cup in 1983 but his contender, Victory 83, was beaten by Australia II in the final heat.
