Question-A full oit tanker sails from saundi Arabia to new york, the customer in NY pumps the oil out and the tanker immediately sails back to its homeport for another load of oit. On its return to Saudi Arabia the tanker capsizes and sinks. What happend? Why? How could this tragedy have been prevented?

The tanker was top heavy because it was empty. Some ballast is needed to balance the instability of the ship.
