CUSD Fixture Mel Bechtel To Retire After 35 Years
A few years back, while serving as a Coronado Middle School boy’s basketball coach, I was on a seemingly endless bus trip to an East County School with 30 young athletes. All of us were being driven by Coronado Unified School District bus driver Mel Bechtel.
