What are some good true sailing travel books, travelogs, the real-life adventure while cruising on a sailboat?

I'm looking for some non-fiction books about sailing cruise on a sailboat. Please note non-fiction means you are real and not fabricated. Sailing, sailing, cruises, travel.

Oh my … I wish I was in my own house now because I could go to my library and give you a list. Unfortunately I'm on the road …. and can rarely remember the names of the books and authors … I read a lot. The one I have with me and I'm reading right now is by the grace of the sea by Patricia (Pat) Henry. This is his solo odyssey sailing around the world when he was in his 50. This is a good book. There are so many. If you live near a marine store like West Marine to enter and browse through their selection of books and you will find many others. There are a couple of books with the words "women on board" in the titles. They do a good read and make a bunch of ideas about cruising. Another book called something like "home afloat." It is an older book, but good with many good ideas. Find books Nigel Calder for the repair and maintenance of ideas. Chapman Piloting and Boating is a must for all crusiers. The latest edition is of course, always best to have, but usually very expensive. Often you can find an issue more for less. Browse the bookstores in the areas where there are marinas and Aboards alive and very likely to find some good books. If you are in an area where there is a marina there is often a "free table" somewhere and you can sometimes find good books there. I hope someday on a shelf somewhere is a very good book for me on the real-life adventures my husband and I, living aboard and cruising. Enjoy your trips, whether real or vicarious.
