I am looking for the name of a country music video (singer or song title) that I saw on CMT?? Help!?

Ok, so here are the details: The singer is a male, he’s kind of scruffy. Most of the video he has a green electric guitar propped on his shoulder (I think he maybe played it once during the entire video for about 5 seconds). He’s floating on a raft in the middle of the ?ocean? and puts a message in a bottle, throws it out to sea. A girl ties a sail to a small boat and sets out into the water. When the boat reaches him on his little floating dock thingy, she’s not in it but there are a bunch of flowers….he sets the boat asail again. If you’ve seen the video you probably know exactly which one I am talking about….otherwise don’t worry about it! I just know that I loved the song and wanted to download it on Itunes, but I can’t even remember what the song was, who sang it, or any of the lyrics in order to look it up! HELP!!!

That sounds like Gary Allen’s Best I Ever Had
it was a cover, originally done by a group called Vertical Horizon.
He recorded the song after his wife committed suicide.
