Sailing Racing

Sailing boats are among the oldest and most commonly used throughout history. A sailboat is a boat of any size which is partially or entirely driven by sails. Candles collect his drive depending on speed and wind direction. The Egyptians were the first sailing ship design right around 4000 BC. Advances in technology helped to give the Egyptians an advantage in moving materials, people and information. The sailboats were used in ancient times for trade and war, while modern sailing vessels find applications in leisure and sports activities.
There are many types of sailboats, some types of carrying one person and others have more than one person. Sailboats are mostly classified by their sail configuration, type of hull, keel and poles. Sailboats, which are classified by the configuration of the sails are as follows:
Sloop
Sloop designs are the most common sailing ship, the corvette term originates from the Dutch word yet. This design uses a mainsail and foresail with a mast. Boats are generally inclined towards one headsail, though this distinction is not definitive. Unlike cutters, boats usually have only one headsail, though some boats, such as Sloop Friendship have more than one candle. Boats are popular with sport sailors and yachts, and racing
Cutter
The cutter is very similar to a schooner with a single mast and mainsail. The cutter usually takes the stick further aft to allow the use of two headsails trailer stays attached, the head stay and stay are inside the jib and foresail, respectively. This is rarely considered a racing configuration, however, gives a lot of versatility to cruise ships, especially when wind conditions.
Lute
Lute configurations are characterized by a single mast. Lute today are used as a boat recreational navigation day. Lute 19th century were also used for racing.
Ketch
Ketch craft designs are sail with two masts: A main mast, and a shorter mizzen. Both antennas are rigged mainly fore-aft. Ketch boats are very popular among cruise long distance. The additional sail allows for better balance.
Dhoni
Dhoni is a motor powered vessel is used primarily in the Maldives.
Schooner
Another popular boat configuration is the schooner. A schooner can have two or more antennas. The second mast is at least as high as the mast in the first place.
Overview

These single-masted sailing vessels were relatively cheap to build, and its draft permitted to dredge more about target = "_blank" title = "Oyster"> oysters on the coast. Chesapeake Bay skipjacks were often built by sailors in their backyards. Some of these ships Sailing still exist and have a strong following of fans of candle.
Sailboats are also classified by the type of helmet. Most sailboats are constructed with a mono or single hull. However, some boats are built as multi-hull boats. These include catamaran (double hull) and tri-Maran (triple helmet) ships. Comparing a mono-hull boat multi-hull acceleration is very different. In an acceleration of multi-hull boat with a maximum speed is very fast and almost instantaneous.
The variations in the types of navigation will always be there as boat sailing is an art and people have different requirements for their art. Sailing requires a high level of experience and skill. Crew must be able to quickly change the rig, rudder and dagger to change the speed and direction of the boat in a variety of conditions of the sea. In addition to directing and managing ship sails, the crew must also have at least knowledge basic some of the skills that are normally the responsibility of the captain. These may include weather forecasting, navigation, repairs emergency, target = "_blank" title = "marine electronics"> marine electronics, first aid and others.
