Advice for liveaboard sailing?

My boyfriend, his brother, my 2 dogs and I are going sailing to the Bahamas for a few months this December and we have a pretty good idea about what we should bring, but what would you say are the necessities? How hard is it going to be to have 2 dogs (They are pitbulls, but very sweet, one is a male about 75 lbs, the other and is female, about 50 lbs. They are our substitute for children so there is no way that we’re leaving them behind)? The boat is 28′, and has a flush deck. Any other advice about anything else about sailing would also be very greatly appreciated!!

Stock up on your favorite food! example, whenever I go sailing, even for just a week or two, I always bring a jar of peanut butter to eat as a snack.
