PARENTS!! Is This Child Neglect / Endangerment?

i don’t know, where i come from a parent who lets their underage 16yo go sailing around the freaking world ALONE should be charged with neglect and endangerment??

It’s obviously not illegal because they’ve already let their son travel the world alone at age 17. Their daughter wanted to do the same and break his record.

Personally, I would never allow this as she is just 16 years old. I don’t care if she was born & raised on the sea and knows everything there is to possibly know about sailing. I’d NEVER allow her to do it alone.
