hiring a boat in turkey?

i want to charter a boat, and visit friends in cyprus can i charter my own boat and sail to cyprus? also friens of mine want to meet us from eygpt can they get a ferry from eygpt to cyprus, i’ve looked online but only see ferries from cyprus to eygpt what about eygpt to cyprus.

You can charter boats from any Marina in Turkey but if you want to pilot it yourself you must have the relevant RYA qualifications for power or sail.
Be aware of the situation in Cyprus,the north is controlled by Turkey and there is an ongoing dispute between Cyprus/Greece and Turkey about this so you may not be welcome in southern Cyprus flying a Turkish flag.The locals wont like you.
If the ferry runs from Cyprus to Egypt it has to return doesnt it ?
