Would it not be possible that the only reason the Bible sounds so unbelievable is because the understanding of certain complex concepts was not present with Humanity back in the days of Moses? Once upon a time, Europeans thought the Earth was flat and if you didn’t sail off the map, a Serpent would eat you. That may as well had been the case, because no navy was strong enough or had the support necessary to sail around the world or even to North America all the way from Europe. Now, they know that the Earth is round and they have stopped killing anyone that says otherwise.
